For this year, we continue our early bird opportunity, which awards employers a reduced rate to our flagship career expo – the EPIC Job Expo. This early bird bonus is exclusively available to those who opt for the Tier 1 registration, provided the registration form is completed by 18 April 2026.

Employers can access our services through the MyCareer self-service platform, where they can enter company details and post job opportunities directly onto our careers portal. Once registered, they can also choose from our tiered offerings, which provide access to our recruitment services for the year.

How to Access our Portal:

  1. Step 1: Visit the Employers section of MyCareer and select the option to register as an employer.
  2. Step 2: Complete your registration, and you’ll receive an automated email confirming your submission for approval.
  3. Step 3: Once approved, you’ll be able to log in and book participation to our many recruitment events and  begin posting your opportunities. For any additional queries, please feel free to contact us at Employer.Relations@uct.ac.za.

The UCT Faculty of Law, recognised as one of the world's Top 100 Law Schools, consistently draws exceptional students from various backgrounds. The Law Expo takes place at UCT's Law Faculty, housed in the Kramer Building. For the 2nd year we will be hosting  Law Expo over 2 days enabling us to host a maximum of 20 exhibitors on each day.

Hosted by UCT Faculty of Law, this two-day event provides access to top legal talent. Limited to 20 exhibitors per day.

Epic Job Expo

The Epic Job Expo is a premier career fair that meets the employment needs of all faculties by connecting diverse employers with job-seeking students and graduates. The exhibition brings in recruitment and networking opportunities, while showcasing job vacancies across various sectors to help improve talent sourcing strategies. In 2024, we had 100 exhibitors and over 4,665 attendees, with our Platinum Sponsored World of Work Presentation attracting more than 700 participants. This year, we're offering an early bird registration for Tier 1 participants, available until April 19th.

Booking and Cancellation Process

Kindly note that all bookings can only be secured by registering for one of our tiered options followed by a booking confirmation email and registration link. This will serve as confirmation of your participation. Therefore, cancellation should be done in writing 30 days prior to the date of the event. Failure to do so will result in a penalty of 100% cost absorption. For more details, kindly refer to the UCT Careers Service Cancellation Policy. Prep with a PRO is a collection of professional development initiatives aimed at providing final year and postgraduate students, the skills, and attributes to prepare them for the world of work which is made up of the following events:

  • Masterclass Mock Interview Programme: Experience the feel of real interviews; receive feedback.
  • Assessment Series
  • Case workshop prep: Develop your problem-solving and analytical capabilities using business cases.
  • Preparing for assessments: Understand how recruitment assessments are done through aptitude tests, group discussions, and situational judgment tests.
  • Build your LinkedIn Profile Workshop: Learning how to build a strong personal brand on LinkedIn.
  • Financial Literacy Workshop: A greater understanding of the principle and management of finances.
